Every Company registered in India under the Companies Act, 1956/2013 must conduct an Annual General Meeting (AGM) once in a financial year. The first AGM of a Company is to be conducted before 30th December of the next year from the date of Incorporation. The subsequent AGMs are to be conducted before 30th September of the same year in which the financial year of the Company ends.

Every Company is required to file annual returns, reports, balance sheet, profit & loss statement and other important changes/events that occur during the year through e-forms with the Registrar of Companies (ROC).
