It is mandatory for all the Directors holding Director Identification Number (DIN) to file e-form DIR-3 KYC every year. In case of non-filing or delay in filing of e-form DIR-3 KYC, the DIN of the Director gets de-activated. The Company will not be able to complete its annual filing until the DIN of such Director is re-activated. Re-activation of the DIN can be done only by filing e-form DIR-3 KYC along with penalty of ₹ 5,000 per Director.
