Every LLP is required to have at least two Designated Partners who shall be individuals and at least one of them shall be a resident of India. A Designated Partner of an LLP may resign from his/her post due to certain reasons. In such cases, the resigning Designated Partner is required to give notice in the form of a resignation letter to other Designated Partners. After accepting the notice, the LLP is required to make changes in LLP Agreement and intimate the ROC of such changes by filing e-form 3 and 4 within 30 days of such event.
